I was watching as the numbers dropped
The light said lower level
Then as I waited for the stop
The light said L Lower level
My heart sank as I felt it go
Still down still lower level
Looking up again I saw LLL
Dropping into deeper fear
I knew there was no ending
Elevator of my dream
I’m awake and you are gone
